- MARS: TABRIS teaser trailer released
Merry Christmas! We have released a teaser for our most recent project, Mars: Tabris.
It is easily our most exciting project to date, a scifi space epic that
has been getting a lot of attention, and is already slated to appear at
a number of scifi film festivals in 2007. This teaser is just a
small taste of what's to come. You can check it out at the Mars: Tabris site.

The scifi action short, Praxis, directed by Rene Amador, has been released on our Movies page
after some relentless demand from the fans. Also look for it soon in
scifi film festivals. You can check it out here.
You can now also watch the very popular Black and White, directed by Jocelyn Hsu, from the Movies page. It's an extremely stylized romance story. Check it out here.

We
are currently in post-production of three short films that are turning
out to be the best we've ever made. Here's some info on each of
them:
Mars: Tabris, a scifi space epic directed by Jocelyn Hsu, produced by
Rene Amador. This will be unlike any short film you've ever seen, an effects-heavy epic full of action and drama. Tabris will be the first part of a series that we will be working on. You can visit the Mars: Tabris page to learn more and download media from the movie.
Vengeful Spirit,
a samurai action drama set in feudal Japan, directed and written
by John Bradbury, produced by Rene Amador and Jocelyn Hsu (gallery of images).
Feed the Monster,
a dramedy about the degradation caused by the creative process that we
are preparing as a Sundance submission. Written and directed by Chris
Taylor, produced by Rene Amador and Jocelyn Hsu.

Happy
New Years! As a special treat, Chris Taylor presents parts 1 and
2 of his epic Cookie Thief series. It's the tale of a crime that

Due
to some technical difficulties many people have been experiencing, most
of our movies are now also being offered in Quicktime format.
Release of our newest movies has been delayed and delayed, and I'm
afraid they must be delayed even more for reasons vast and enigmatic.
We've found out that internet distribution of a whole film, in any
capacity, can disqualify it from certain film festivals. We will focus
now on giving you a little trailer for these new films as an appetizer,
which you can expect right away.
In the meantime, be sure to check out DAVE Networks where many of our future films will be released. They've just opened up for beta-testing, so sign up if you're into that.
Enjoy what remains of summer!

cooking:

A double-whammy of recognition:
Foodforthemoon.com has been featured by the Internet Video Magazine as the Best Video Website of the Week (read the article). Other recent recipients of this title include Band of Citizens and the BBC's One Minute Movies. In addition, Jocelyn Hsu's Female Seeking Female Companionship has been featured as Best Online Video of the Week by the Internet Video Magazine (read the article).
Congratulations to Jocelyn Hsu and everyone at Food for the Moon Productions for the great work. Female Seeking Female Companionship is now challenging The Official Ninja Movie
as the most popular movie on the website, so go check out what the big
deal is. Which movie do you like better and why? Let us
know at contact@foodforthemoon.com or thru the contact form.

Thanks to everyone for pointing out broken
links throughout the site, guess that's what happens when you use two
different web-publishing programs together. We had no idea we had
so many conscientious fans, a welcome surprise. I guess I'm still
having trouble understanding exactly how many people visit the site,
but apparently it's a large enough group to warrant a sub-group that
pointed out broken links. Anyways, hope you stick around, we've
got more movies coming.
October 26, 2004
We've moved to midPhase web hosting.
They offer much more bandwidth and web space than our last host.
For the future, look for more movies and a more complete Resources
section. Email contact@foodforthemoon.com if you have suggestions for
what you'd like to see on the site in the future.
There's a link to the RealPlayer installer on the frontpage: www.foodforthemoon.com.
This is the version that I use, it's much less cumbersome and not as
intrusive as RealOne, plus it plays nearly every type of media
file. I hope this appeases some of the fans who want a more
manageable media player for .RMs.

Popsicle - The power of frozen treats compel you!
Enjoy! As usual, tell us what you think of our work by leaving your comments on the COMPANY page.
